The 1240 Leaf Shaft is a traditional internal bladder design for winding multiple cores or thin-wall cores. The leaf expanders offer 360-degree contact to reduce core deformation and allows the shaft to be used with or without cores.
The inner body is made of steel or aluminum, and the steel journals can be designed for simple or cantilevered support.
