Sidelay shafts have the ability to micro-adjust the web laterally – 25 mm. Comprised of an outer body with expanders assembled over an inner solid steel base shaft and an adjustment knob, the model is used on light duty cantilevered machine setups to maintain uniform tension across the web and reduce wrinkling. Like all Goldenrod Multiple Bladder shafts, bladder repairs take less than 10 minutes.
